Making A Purchase
To order products from the Homebits website, simply follow these steps:
Select the product(s) you wish to purchase, selecting the available options as necessary, the quantity you require, then click on the "Buy Now" button. You will then be shown a new page (shopping cart), which will show the item(s) you have selected. If you continue shopping you will then be taken back to the item that you last viewed.
You can continue to search the Homebits site for further goods that you may wish to purchase and add these to your basket (you may add as many products as you wish before visiting the checkout). The total number of items and value of your basket (excluding delivery) will be displayed at all times and by clicking "View Basket", you will be able to amend any selected item(s). If any item(s) appear either priced £0.00 or described as "Drop Down" this is a site error and we would ask you to contact us for the correct price as Homebits does not sell any item(s) for £0.00.
When you have finished shopping click the "Checkout" button where you will be taken to your shopping cart which will show you the products that you have selected to order. If anything is incorrect, press "Cancel" and you will be taken back to the item that you last viewed and by clicking "View Basket" you will be able to make any changes.
If all details are correct, click on "Next" and fill in the information requested, at this point delivery charges (if applicable) will be shown. Once completed, you will then be taken to the Global Iris site which uses Security from Verified by Visa and MasterCard® SecureCode for internet transactions who will process your payment. After this you will be presented with a receipt page confirming your Homebits order and transaction for your records. If you require a confirmation e-mail, please ensure that you click to return to our site as our system uses this final action to generate this.
As we do not take payment for your purchase(s) until the goods are shipped or part shipped, please note that the date on your credit card statement for your transaction may not be the same as that shown on your e-mail confirmation. The transaction on your credit card statement will be shown as "IT-FITZ.com" and not Homebits.
Shipping And Handling
Delivery is free on all orders over £250 goods value (EU Countires and Worldwide excepted) exclusive of VAT (Channel Islands excepted).
Our charges are banded and calculated by the goods value which, dependant on the weight/country location, are either sent by Royal Mail First Class Signed For, Special Delivery Next Day (Before 1pm), DPD Next Day (UK only), International Signed For, DPD International, DHL, UPS or Fedex.
Please note that you will be required to sign for our delivery and therefore we recommend that the delivery address that you give should take this into account when placing your order. If for whatever reason the goods are returned to us due to failure to comply we may, at our discretion, charge you for a repeat delivery.
We also offer for UK Mainland Next Day Delivery if the item is instock where all orders must be placed before 14:00 otherwise they will be sent the following day.

Homebits will make every effort to deliver your order within fourteen working days but in certain circumstances this may not be possible - (see Back Orders).
Delivery of the Goods willl be made to the address that was specified in the order and you must make all arrangements necessary to take delivery of the Goods whenever they are tendered for delivery. You may be required to sign for the Goods and you should bear this in mind when confirming your delivery address details as failed deliveries may incurr additional costs to you the purchaser if we receive the Goods back from our carriers due to your inability to receive them.
Please be aware that although Homebits makes every effort and packs goods with protection for export, we cannot be held responsible for fragile items (for example ceramic or glass) that may be damaged by shipping to countries outside The United Kingdom.
Title and risk in the Goods shall pass to you upon delivery of the Goods.
Sometimes Homebits may be out of stock of your item(s) and if so, these will be put on back order for you. Should this be the case, Homebits will contact you with the anticipated completion date for your total order and may offer to part ship some of your items at no additional cost to yourselves.
If this is not acceptable then you have the option to cancel your order for the outstanding item(s) if you would rather not wait. Homebits will refund your credit card to the value of the item(s) that you have cancelled.
All prices shown on our website are inclusive of VAT @ 20%, and when you add to/view the basket the selected individual prices will be shown exclusive of VAT. The calculated carriage charges (where applicable) which are shown on the view basket/checkout pages are exclusive of VAT and are subject to VAT @ 20% at checkout.
For EU individuals the prices shown in pound sterling, which are inclusive of UK tax charges, will still apply and it is the responsibility of the individual making the purchase to comply and deal with any customs and taxation requirements that may arise. For EU company purchases the tax charge of 20% will not apply upon confirmation of your EU company registration number by completing the required information at checkout.

30 Day Refund Guarantee
We offer a no quibble 30 day refund guarantee for retail customers when you purchase from Homebits. If you change your mind all we ask is that you return the goods to us in resaleable condition and we will refund the value of those goods. Refunds are usually made within 5 working days following return of the goods.

All of our products are covered by at least 1 year manufacturers' guarantees - as authorised retailers we deal with any problems on your behalf, providing refunds, replacements or spare parts as appropriate.

We want you to be happy with your purchase and if for any reason the Goods do not suit your needs, the purchaser can return them to Homebits unused, undamaged, in their original packaging and adequately insured during their return journey for a full refund (excluding calculated delivery charges, if any, calculated on the value of the item(s) being returned).
Where a claim of defect or damage is made, the Goods shall be returned by the purchaser to Homebits in their original delivered packaging and should be adequately insured during their return journey. The purchaser will be entitled to a full refund (including calculated delivery charges, if any, calculated on the value of the item(s) being returned) plus the carriage costs incurred to return such, if the Goods are in fact proven to be defective or damaged.
If Homebits supply an item in error which is not in accordance with your order, it is the responsibility of Homebits to advise you of their return instructions which may involve a third party, for example The Post Office, in order to fufill this requirement; all costs are limited to the cost of the item being returned.
All goods being returned must include a copy (or original) of the Homebits issued delivery/invoice note included within the returned package in order for us to process this as quickly as possible. Proof of postage does not constitute a return receipt by Homebits and any claims made against returns made using this method will not be accepted.
If you, the purchaser, fail to notify or advise Homebits within ten days from the date of the Homebits delivery/invoice note included with your purchase and subsequently do not return these items within 18 days from the date of this notification, then you shall be deemed to have accepted the goods. Any requests for returns after this period has elapsed will be at the discretion of Homebits and any subsequent refunds due in respect of an agreed return will be subject to a re-stocking/handling charge.
As we are an on-line retailler we do not offer credit facilities and payment should always be made via Global payments. However, please note that we do not take money from your credit card until your order either in part or full is shipped.
